Well...I put up a fight as much as I could. Delayed Delayed Delayed. But I finally won!!
I sold my Stick & Bricks. I close in 3 weeks.
Im headed to Quartzsite in a few months. I have to still pack everything. I should be there by summer.
I'll see you down the road.

Quartzsite is not a full-time hangout for the overwhelming majority of us, it's too dang hot! (110 degrees is not unusual.)

We start scattering to the winds sometime in April - usually farther north. Now there are people who do stay in Arizona year-round, but they do it by heading to Flagstaff and hanging out in higher elevations.

Given that you are new to this, and won't be free to come until after the great scattering, I think you should join a virtual caravan or two in the meantime. Be looking for folks who seem compatible to travel with, because it is certainly a help when you are first starting out.

Do not head to Quartzsite between the end of March and mid November. It will be close to being a ghost town with lots of closed businesses and very few van dwellers. The next big Nomadic gathering will be in April in Pahrump Nevada where Bob Wells and his board members plus volunteers are gathering for the spring event where a fortunate few applicants are getting help with improvements on their Van living spaces to make them more functional. The last of the HOWA caravans will gather there before dispersing for the summer.

All the official information about that event is on the homesonwheelsalliance.org website.
