The old radio in the van has long ago gone to the great speaker system in the sky.

I am totally disinclined to dig in that dash and rewire.    Let it Rest In Peace.

I have a Bose Sound System.   It is great.   But, I do not want to run the inverter for this.
Does anyone know if the 12v adapter for this really works?  Works well?

I saw it on the Bose website, but no reviews.   I really like the sound from Bose...sure would like it to be useful as I hit the road.

What system do others use?   Any non-vehicle systems?

If it's from Bose, intended for that model, I'd think no worries.

Rk, I have the sound dock 1 or 2... Sent it back to Bose once to allow it to use the iPhone 2 or 3 when Apple changed a pin in the large 32 pin connector of the day.

I have an older gen 4 iPod photo with a 60 galladanb drive that I paid a lotttttttt for back in that day! I cannot use the sound dock with my current iPhone 5 s.

All of our music is on that drive and it won't fit on any current phone model! We have lotttttt!
And we have a small fortune invested in the dock, repairs, iPod photo, and music files!

So I have considered buying one of those laptop power supply for 12v use so that I could wire it into the sound dock and yet still keep the 110ac system as well.

So, yeah, I want to use my sound dock in our new van life!!!

Btw, I'm glad you mentioned the Bose adapter, I have not looked at their site, so I didn't know they even had one.

It is pricey?
