Mountain looks nice today

I took these shots of Mt Rainier this morning.

Cool! Flying into SeaTac once and the cloud cover was low enough - we were over the clouds - and Rainier stuck up above like an island. It was awesome!

I used to see that sight almost every day from Ft Lewis.  How I miss  Washington, especially after this ungodly heat in my native Kentucky this summer.  That's alright I will probably spend next summer back in the PNW.

Can't see it from my house but I can see it from one block away when I walk the dog.  It never fails to take my breath away.

There is a formation of rocks on the mountain that looks like an elk head. Have any of you seen it?<br />I will try and find a good shot of it and point it out.
