I saw this on a YT video (actually  it was my daughter's!) and I was AMAZED.  Maybe I won't have to take my giant VitaMix on the road after all?

Wow, love it! I'm a huge fan on non motorized kitchen gadgets. Love the old fashioned ones that were made back when. And they were built like tanks. While we're on the subject. I bought one of these about 5 years ago and it minces garlic better than anything ive ever tried. Roll in on the counter back and fourth a few times and you have nice minced fresh garlic in a matter seconds. Great if you have bad hands too, as garlic presses take some force. Very easy to clean, easier than a garlic press, blades are still scary sharp after hundreds of uses. .
