Hello!

1994e150clubwagon.jpg

I have a van, it's great! This thing fell in my lap and so I want to take the best care possible. it has been passed from one nomadic hippy/dirt worshiper weirdo from the next and I am proud to continue the legacy. I want to eventually live in this thing transient style around this great continent. Lots of work to do!
other than the basic vanlife interior build i have a
GOALS/WISHLIST!!!
Center console with cup holders for the dog box, surprisingly hard to find, HELP ME!
window inserts/completely delete the 2 rear windows/ learn to weld/ get some friends that weld
roof rack
diy pull-out awning (i have this idea of a tarp that rolls up inside of 6" pvc)
clip in modular everything can be easily removed for cargo hauling missions (d-rings... so many d-rings)
swivel captain's chairs - need more info on bolt spacing

there's so much more but these are things i will be researching/asking around about. so if you happen to have the low down don't be shy!

PEACE
francis

Welcome to the forums.

I have a couple of ideas for your wish list;

-Depending on the size of your dog, you could get a small plastic kennel that has the metal opening door faced towards the back. You could always mount a portable cup holder to the top.
-I wouldn't delete any windows for fear of leaks. I would get some CELOTEX insulation board, and cut/fit to the shape of the window which will insulate well, and be removable if needed.
-I would have a roof rack also, and use the tarp idea, but have a rigid conduit/PVC outline frame that could be broken down, and stored in another 6" PVC tube.
