Spotted this tag-along parked at a car museum we were visiting on Mount Desert Island in Maine.

Its a Serro Scotty Sportsman. Anyone remember these? I couldn't find anything on the Internet about this model. Obviously, a good one though. Still in service!

PS Hope you enjoyed Acadia ,,,,BTW most of our coast looks exactly like that !
The whole state should be a NP !

My WiFi here at the house is just bombarded with traffic this holiday weekend - thus the reason I couldn't find this little gem on the Internet yesterday! Today I'm tethering to my phone and I found the Serro website! You might want to take a look. The address is http://www.scottytrailers.com/sportsman.php.

They have redesigned this model, but are still producing it.

Very cool.

I would call that a "canned ham" more than a teardrop.

I have a 1959 10' "Easy Traveler" Almost nothing on the web about it either.

Guy
Yes, this size trailer, even though it may have the teardrop profile, is usually called a "canned ham." The new design of the Serro is even more rounded like the teardrop profile, but this trailer is 15' long (as opposed to our Half Pint teardrop that is only 8' long). This model sleeps 3 and has a kitchen.

Still sporting' the teal color - my favorite - reminds me of a '56 Ford Crown Vic!

yup, definitely a canned ham, real teardrops are just a bed on wheels with an outside galley
if you're really fancy you put a TV and AC unit in them

Yeah, we do get fancy with some of the options we offer. It's amazing what you can get to run on 12-volt these days!

Hey, we really did enjoy Acadia. Have you ever been to the car museum I was referring to? Very interesting. Of course, ALL car museums are interesting to me! We really liked "Bah Habah" too.
