We have a 79 Chevy P-20 converted to a hillbilly camper. Wife & I are in our mid 60's. Getting ready to sell our house we have been in for 20 yrs. in Melbourne Fl. Looking to hit the road in early 2021. Bama or GA. Plan is to get a 18-20 ft. TT and drag it with the P-body. We also have a Nissan Frontier x-cab. The PU will drag the trailer with the wife's scooter & my 03 Tri. Bonny. Will checkout long term campgrounds to use as a base camp.
Any input/advise appreciated. Thanks Geoff & CJ

Welcome bodineahrens to the CRVL forums! To help you learn the ins and outs of these forums, this "Tips, Tricks and Rules" post lists some helpful information to get you started.

Most of our rules boil down to two simple over-riding principles: 1) What you post should provide good information (like your introductory post), and 2) Any response to someone else's post should make them feel glad they are part of this forum community.

We look forward to hearing more from you.

The Nissan sounds small to pull that much trailer loaded. You will need trailer brakes if it is rated to pull that much weight. Be sure to weigh the trailer loaded.

^^^^Step van pulls 18' trailer.........Nissan PU pulls a trailer w/scooter and ride
