I am not full time anymore, but with Donald J. and those that he inspires I may be so again soon.  I do stay mobile as much as possible, and made my first RTR last January.

I am based in SW Colorado, at Telluride - a town that some want to be Aspen save for those hippies they can't quite get rid of.  Housing is in very short supply, I got mine just as things were filling back up again.  Work here in either the Summer or Winter is easy and between local Forest and BLM land one can make it happen.  Summer music festival season here is awesome, we had Pearl Jam and Neal Young last year, plus a ton of quality indie performers.  The summer season is bookmarked by Mountain Film, a one of a kind socially conscious outdoor documentary festival, and the Telluride Film Festival, which is very influential on the Oscars due the timing and the relative proximity to LA.  Best Picture winner Barry Jenkins career was started in part by volunteering here, which is something you can still do for most of the festivals.

Muley Point in the video below is just across the Navajo Reservation from Flagstaff.  This is part of the new Bear's Ears National Monument which includes some Flagstaff type Country stretching up into the Abajo Mountains, south of Moab.

One of my absolute favorite places...I worked just outside Telluride on a guest ranch in the summer of 2003. It was by far one of the best ranches I've worked on for the scenery and variety of trails. I'm hoping to go back and visit again when I hit the road.

Welcome aboard!
I'm data restricted now but will watch it later when I can get free wifi.
Very GC looking country , guess there's a lot of that in the area......
