Hi All! I've been on this site many times just reading up on all the great info but never registered as a member. Well today, I finally registered. All of Bob's sites area GREAT!

Background: I'm from Houston, Texas. I've lived here for 43 years (all my life) and last year (Mar 2012) I sold my computer consulting business and website after running it for 15 years. After relaxing for a few months, I jumped in a car with my brother and set off on an adventure. We spent most of our time in Utah (45 days I think), but then back to Houston as the money went fast while living in hotels. I decided that I really liked traveling but needed to figure a better/cheaper way to do it, so my research began.

Having a technical background, I thought it was best that I pursue some sort of online income sources. My first venture was to write an eBook about computer virus removal since it was something I did quite a bit with my computer business. The eBook is doing OK and it still sells but it won't pay for much gas, so I really needed to think about this. Since I'm not at retirement age, I need to continue to earn money to survive. The best thing I could do is earn from multiple streams of online income so that is what I'm focusing on now.

My RV: I don't have one yet. Ha! I have some money and could purchase one, but I'm really focused on building my monthly earnings first. I am however looking. The RV I plan to purchase is a Class B RV. I'm a single guy but I could have visitors, either family or friends, that may want to fly out or drive to my location and hang, so the extra sleeping area is important. And the girls would appreciate the restroom facilities, even if that is a small area.

My Plan:
At this point, I am earning most of my money from freelance work that I do from my laptop which I can do from anywhere, but I'm also working on other ideas for generating money. I will probably continue to work through the summer months in the AC here in Houston while I build up my bank account, build the money streams and search for the right RV. I'm thinking I will start making offers in September. Once I buy my RV (cash), I will spend a month or two fixing it up. By the time I have it to my liking, the weather should be cool enough here in Houston to live in it while I test it out and prepare for my first trip. I plan to move into the RV Full Time. I have family & friends in Texas & Louisiana so the first trips will be in those locations, then off to explore other States.

I thank everyone for all the great info on this forum and thanks to Bob for his RV book which was a great read. I just received my email to leave a review, so I need to do that. I know how important reviews are on eBooks. I gave away over 1000 free copies of my eBook through the Kindle Direct Publishing account and only received 2 reviews. Ouch! The book is good, just people don't leave reviews. Oh well.
