In several threads problems have come up that have inexpensive solutions.
Bay leaves are a non toxic way to repel bugs.
Vinegar has hundreds of uses, from cleaning to itch relief.
My grandma had a solution for the common cold. It involved a jug of her home brew, and a sweet onion.
Chop the onion and put it in a quart jar. Fill jar with shine. Drink off the liquid, and sleep until you wake on your own. (About 24 to 30 hours.)
She lived into her late 80's.
Can people post their "home" solutions for everyday problems?
