Well it looks like TINY HOUSE are here to stay. With more people getting creative with how to spend $20,000 to $30,000 to get something small to live in.

Time to take the next step. MICRO HOUSE. Take a van or a commercial trailer and make it livable space. There should be any industry. Separate from the RV community.

I'd think MLE (Mobile Living Environment) would work better here.  Most people here move often and that's a big part of what sets us apart from the Tiny House people.

Trying to ride the TINY HOUSE coat tails. Of course there are better acronyms.

Then someone is going to come along and make a living space in a smart car and call it NANO HOUSE.

Next thing you know, they'll make bike's that fold down into a covered bed, and it will be called SUPER NANO HOUSE.

I just posted an article on a super cheap micro house in Dawson City Yukon, Territories:

He already had the van, my guess is that the hay, plastic, tape and rope cost less than $200

Wonder what the bugs would be like in that hay? Are they attracted to it making them more likely to get in the van.

Rvtravel - Yukon. Bugs frozen solid. Nightly. Likely.

lol..oops..forgot the part where its winter. Summer would be my question then.

Oh, wow...

1. One good spark from the flue and bye bye! Of course, with a good snowfall, probably not quite as worrisome.
2. Those bales weigh about 40-50 pounds each (dry). My van has a roof weight limit of 100# (per the manufacturer). Add a foot or two of snow and I think I'd be a little bit paranoid.
3. The bugs/vermin may not freeze -- the hay would provide a great shelter for them.

Interesting setup, though. I think I'd pass.
