Hello and have a great day! Wherever you are.
Last year, 2018, (wdttg, where did the time go) Just before Labor Day, my wife of 46 yrs, passed from thus mortal coil. To say I was at loose ends is an understatement. This was after five months of hospitals, local and not-so-local. So it wasn't totally sudden. I lost interest in keeping up payments on the trailer. Boom, evicted / homeless. Everything into storage, except for a few things, in the trunk and back seat.
His doggy-ness Chocolate always came along. Except for church and the bathroom. After a while I went withy my son in a futile trip to Ft. Wayne, from Michigan. Child support didn't allow out of state fathers. (ugh). He went back I stayed with his almost-brother. Then, when I got paid again, left for Texas.
Having relatives there, a sister law and - a grand daughter, with child, who are waiting for Daddy to get out of the U S Army. El Paso is hot, flat, treeless, and was my 'home' for a month.
I drove / drive a Toyota Camry, (03) and have a Bluetooth rig that puts the Voice from Maps on the phone into the radio. Now the Travel Bug has bitten. Route 66? The Alcan Highway? The lower 48 plus Canada ?
