I'm thinking about buying a Runaway trailer. First saw it when Bob did a youtube review at their Florida factory. Can't beat the price and I don't mind the "unfinished" nature of it. Lots of opportunity to DIY.

But the cost is over $800 on the west coast. I'd sure like to find some way to pay maybe  half that. Seems like $400 could get it onto a vacant spot on a car dealer trailer or something.

Thanks for all. But those are premium shippers, seeming to specialize in collectors' cars like Model T that require TLC that a small travel trailer would not. And their charges are well above the premium Ruanway charges for a car sold on the West Coast.

I've been thinking about finding an auto dealer in Florida that pays for someone to drive a truck (with a hitch) from there to California. Then I could get a ride there and drive the dealer's truck back with trailer in tow. Might even make a few bucks off the deal.

Uship is not exclusively professionals. I supplemented my income, many times, using uship.
