You need to check the label on the microwave. Or check it with a Kill-a-watt meter(better). Then you need to check the specs on the inverter check peak output and sustained output. Highdesertranger
 
If the inverter is sustained 1000w then technically yes, it will work. But it will work hard, so be sure the supply wire is adequate size or else it won't work due to the voltage drop. It wouldn't hurt to have some cushion though with a 1200-1500w inverter. Good job on the pure sine though. Microwaves and square wave inverters don't get along.
