I have an interview at WIS International tomorrow. Basically, you are herded into a van and go to a location for 12 hours, counting inventory. Turnover is high and they will hire anyone. It looks like a place just to get some hours for a while... Oh yeah, if you drive the passenger van to and from locations, you get more money. I'd give my eye teeth to sleep in the van but won't mention that in the interview.

I might have to give this a try. It's got to be more fun than sitting around all day watching court TV shows....

VT

The turnover is high, because most people would hate that job. I, however, wouldn't mind (except maybe the van ride, sardined with strangers). I LOVE tedious, repetitious, "boring" work.
I had a temp job once of doing inventory at a dollar store. Best 3 days of work ever!

Now that my scoliosis is worse, I'd have to be able to sit on a stool and not lift too many boxes to do it... but I still wouldn't mind it. The job I have now is organizing files of English-to-whatever translated manuals of industrial equipment... my boss thinks I'm weird, because I have a great time in the filing room, shuffling away at folders and papers! (hrm...maybe I should listen to that "every day shuffling" song, while I work! LOL)

Good luck and best wishes for the job!
