I purchased a partially converted 2013 Nissan NV2500 high top van for occasional camping.  I've got it about the way I want it.   I travel all over the country on business.  I thought it might be fun to camp on some of these trips.  Of course, because of the virus, there hasn't been much travel for the last year, but there should be opportunities in 2021 and beyond.  Right now I'm looking at a trip to Columbus, OH in Jun, for a trade show and a few client visits, and a trip to Amarillo, TX for a speaking engagement in January 2022.  That would include a stop in Shawnee, OK to do a bit of research on my maternal grandfather who was a banker there around the turn of the 20th century.  I am a retired army officer, and former law enforcement officer here in Virginia.  Married (40 years), no kids, six horses, two big dogs and one cat at home.  Several others at the barn.  We're about to offer our place on Boondockers Welcome.  What else might you need/want to know about me.

Welcome to the CRVL forums! To help you learn the ins and outs of these forums, this "Tips, Tricks and Rules" post lists some helpful information to get you started.

Most of our rules boil down to two simple over-riding principles: 1) What you post should provide good information (like your introductory post), and 2) Any response to someone else's post should make them feel glad they are part of this forum community.

We look forward to hearing more from you.

Welcome to the For him. Sounds like you’re independent and prepared for anything. I hope you enjoy your van as much as I enjoy mine. I truly thank you for your service that’s not a cliché with me. Enjoy life is short.
