I'm not quite sure where the Member Profile area is so I would really appreciate it if someone could post a link or direct me to the right area?
I am a middle-aged female and I currently live in the Greater Seattle area. I was laid off in early May due to Covid, so lots of time to watch YouTube. I came across the CheapRvLiving channel and now that I have bought a better car (2016 Kia Soul), I'm hoping to get out and explore the Pacific Northwest. The length of trip will depend on if I get a job before my Unemployment runs out or if I have to consider VERY early retirement and travel full time. If that ends up being the case, I may just go whole hog, cash out the tiny 401k I have while there is no penalty right now, and travel across the U.S., especially the East Coast. I also follow a YouTube couple that drives all over Europe, which is my dream, but unless I can convert to a digital nomad and work consistently, I will have to live vicariously through them.
I have only been camping twice in my life so I'm trying to watch the more technical parts of the series, such as what equipment I might need. I will most likely move my car seats around and figure out a way to sleep in the Kia vs a tent outside, but who knows?
I hope to learn from everyone and if there is ever a topic I can help with, be an active part of the community.
