I have a 2000 GMC Savana 1500 conversion van. I saw Bob's video where his assistant had one installed in her rear window, with a fan hood, but I can't seem to find any showing a step-by-step process. I'm a visual learner. Any suggestions for anyone who may have posted videos. Or suggestions for what I will need to do it myself, besides the fan of course.

Any ventilation placed in the rear of a van MUST be able to be sealed 100% while driving. Highdesertranger

Here's how Bob's assistant, KC, did it.

A fabricator made a metal replacement for the rear window with the 14" x 14" vent hole cut in it, then an auto glass tech installed it. (The rear windows on Express/Savana vans glue in place unless you have the kind that open.)

The vent fan was installed in the 14 x 14 hole with sealant and screws, just like it would be installed on a roof. The hood was added later, also by the same method it would be installed on a roof.
