This is a very genius product selling for under $5 at Harbor Freight. It’s a rechargeable mini flashlight that plugs into cig lighter socket to recharge. It can even shine while charging! This is a must for low budget mobile dwelling. Don’t forget your HF coupon insert with product coupons, 20% off most items coupon & free item with purchase coupon!

I feel this flashlight is so genius, Producers will get into a manufacturing frenzy as consumers respond to this idea. Regardless, buy this now.

It does not mention lithium battery, so it probably is not?

And only 80 lumens, not very bright either.

Edit to add: Could be useful inside looking for something in that nook or cranny.

so the link works for you guys? I just checked again and it doesn't work for me. highdesertranger

Worked for me, chrome on Windows 10 laptop

Harbor Freight doesn't like you almost as much as you don't like them!

80 lumens is about the light given off by a 10W incandescent light bulb.

lol....oh the images that brings to my mind...

I actually purchased one of these flashlights on 18 October 2018, before the OP began this thread. So far, I've found it quite light to carry and acceptably bright. The on/off switch requires positive action to turn the flashlight on, which helps keep it from turning on accidentally in one's pocket (a problem I've experienced with some other rechargeable flashlights).

On the downside, the spring-loaded studs that keep it in contact with the sides of a 12V ciggy port are quite stiff, which makes it difficult to retrieve the flashlight from the port. Meanwhile, its extreme lightness leads me to believe that its internal battery has little endurance.

Overall, for the $3.99 I paid (plus tax), I'd call this a useful backup flashlight for carry in one's vehicle, though I prefer other options for everyday carry. Its rechargeable feature makes it much superior to dollar-store LED flashlights (which, after buying batteries, cost nearly as much as this rechargeable flashlight).

Well, that gave me a chuckle.   Post reads like a straight lift of the advertising blurb.

What about those solar garden lights? Those gotta be up there in the low budget arena.
