that one you posted in post number 36 is seriously overloaded.  look at the clearance between the tire and the fender.  highdesertranger

Yeah, and it really shoots the cheap part out the window too.  If I was going to build something like that it would have to be lighter.  I think that one is more a tiny house that only gets moved a few times and not something you would wanna drag down the interstate every 2 weeks.  Still cute and someone could take some design elements off of it for a build more suitable for full time mobile living.

This Vardo is what the builder is calling an experiment.  I believe he is from South Africa so his measurements are metric.  Anyway, It looks like this Vardo is built on more or less a 5x12 (just a touch shorter) size trailer.  I'm really liking the shower area where you can close the door and slide a partition and you have a shower/bathroom.  That is a nice design.  I also like the storage boxes built around the bottom.  Great place to put your batteries and tools. Not so sure about the water draining out thru the floor boards in the shower.  Might have to make some sort of pan with a drain so the water can be directed to someplace other than right underneath the wagon.  He didn't say how much it weighs but I'll guess in the neighborhood of 2000 pounds from what I'm seeing with these home built trailers.  Light enough to be pulled with a small pickup or mini van.  Probably wouldn't try and tow it with a small car.  The design is clean and it looks plenty cheap enough for materials.  Hope you all enjoy watching this, I think it is pretty nice.
