There's some cool shuttle bus conversions over at the skoolie forum. I'm planning on turning a shuttle bus into a 4x4 (or 6x6) toyhauler. Because I want the bus to serve any number of purposes, one of my design fundamentals is that most everything I put in the bus will be removable. I'll have some nice cabinets which are built with a modular approach and can be taken out by simply pulling a handful of screws/bolts. This way the rig can get used as much as possible for a variety of things, rather than a purpose built living space. If I want to pack every bit of space full of stuff (or snowmobiles) I can just leave the cabinetry at home. Or if I just need a little extra space I can pull some of them out, whatever. Flexibility is key.

Still looking for the right bus, but I'm patient.
