On a deer. $8600 damage. Worst part was they kept my van for a month and my window to the internet was left in it. I got a Jeep Cherokee for a rental but it was NOT suitable for a dude who is 6-4. I could barely fit in the thing much less sleep or carry my essentials. I ended up sleeping on a garage floor on an air mattress at night which wasn't ideal.
I finally got my Transit Connect back and back and restocked for van living it. I built a bed out of 2x and 1x and 6" of memory foam. 2 levels of storage underneath. Next up is removing the headliner and adding blackout curtains and a closet rod.
