Now that I can sit outside after dusk without skeeter attacks I figured I needed an eco-friendly lantern and radio that will also save some internet bandwidth.

Plus now my existing solar outdoor LED spotlight can be used outdoors to light the way between the lanai and truck camper.

I will let you know when it arrives but the reviews are pretty good.

I wanted something that would get a good AM signal for night time talk shows.

I will still listen to music via headphones with a smart phone.

I misread your heading, thought you said Santa brought you some holiday presents. I was confused, word on the streets is you have been a bad boy.

Night time talk AM radio will give you brain damage.

Email alerts have informed me that both items have shipped today (they were ordered yesterday) so let the brain fade begin without the nuisance of flying insects

I like your lantern and your lanai. You gonna like it. Wish I had the screen on occasion. My wife's mom sent me a cool lantern for Christmas. this. . . http://thesweethome.com/reviews/best-led-lantern/ got to say I love it even if it uses crappy D batteries. Haven't uses the propane lantern since. Some how she lucked out and picked me good one. Thanks Mom.
A SEEKER

The screen tent has arrived and it was an ease to erect even the first time all by myself.

The zippered door height is just about six foot and I have room to stand up inside plus if offers good shade coverage. It even has a hook in the ceiling to hang my solar lantern/radio that is in transit.

I am moving to Deep Creek Preserve here in Port Charlotte in a few days for a week and I will post photos at my blog of the lanai setup over a picnic table to act as my kitchen, dining, and living area.
