Have an older van that I am working on getting ready to roll. Wish I was in the AZ desert enjoying a nice campfire with ya'll instead of the freak out going on elsewhere.

Hope to pick up some good tips and to meet some good people here.

Yes,  I'm staying close to the house and working on projects around the place myself.   So far there isn't 
much infection around my area.  You know, sparkle for spring and all that stuff.

Don't pine to much for being in the desert. Those who do not have enough solar and battery power for using air conditioning will soon be facing having to leave because it is too hot. Then will begin, the increasingly difficult task, of finding a place they can go to for free boondocking.

But it won't be this way forever, keep dreaming, fall and winter will come around again.

Same here. I have a small house in Wyoming that's my home base. I will probably be here most of the summer.

I'm hoping things are back to normal by fall.

Welcome desert_sailing - I am nearly complete with my latest build and broke my lease (before virus) for end of April. Not sure where I'll go or how far I will be allowed this situation is one I'll remember for a long time - unless it gets me first. Want a good read?- try Poe's "Mask of the Red Death" - now there is a prophetic message if there ever was one.

A friend referred me to Stephen Kings  1994 miniseries "The Stand".... can be found on youtube. It is 6 hours long as it was a miniseries.. Talk about prophetic.  If you watch it look for the rat references... just so happens this IS also the Chinese year of the rat... crazy!
