How To Install A Plug For Charging Batteries From Generator

I installed my solar setup,and thanks to a very patient tech at Renogy, it works. I would like to have a way to charge my batteries from my generator. Suggestions?

On board generator or portable...it makes a difference!

Also need to know what you have in battery bank and the size of the generator so that the right size of battery charger can be recommended.

Do not bother with the 12V output, unless its limited amps are all your battery will accept.

Otherwise you need a good mains charger, ideally adjustable voltage to handle any future batt chemistry, and adjustable amps output to handle various input levels.

Also, besides the current battery model and bank size in AH, do you think you may need to go bigger in future?
