Hi Everyone,
I just found this site by watching a youtube video about a guy who lives in his van and works in Phoenix AZ. I've known about van living and stealth camping for a number of years now and the closest I've come to it was camping in a Florida State Park with no amenities for 10 dollars a night about two years ago. I loved it.
Now my wife and I want to come to Phoenix AZ for about 12 weeks and live as cheaply as possible. We own a 1993 VW Eurovan, the weekender model so that part is already taken care of.
In traveling from point A to point B I have had good success spending the nights in Walmarts. I've never had anyone knock on my windows ever. (knock on wood). So the part that I have absolutely no idea how to accomplish is living in one city for an extended period of time and moving around in such a way as to stay as transparent as possible without too much stress and feeling good about the entire experience.
So I can use all the wisdom I can get from everyone that has already lived, experienced and solved these issues.
Thanks in Advance,
Rick
PS I apologize for not reading everything first. I've found some great articles on the site. My bad.
But I did want to introduce myself anyway.
