New to the site. Approaching retirement and looking to travel, sometimes solo sometimes with my wife. I have a truck with topper that I built a carpeted modular unit that allows a bed and some storage. I also built an oceangoing boat that I camp on the water in with wife and grandkids. I plan on spending more time on it and truck camping in Alaska in the summer and truck camping in the Southwest (NM, AR, CO) in fall and winter. U was raided in Eastern and Northern NM so it is always home.
I found this forum broom Bob's You Tube channel. I look forward to sharing and learning. If you have Alaska questions I wil try to answer them. I also have some experience living for short periods on a small boat where I don't touch land for 3 or 4 days. I tell my wife it is upgraded tent camping not downgraded RV camping as it is very minimalistic.
