This is my answer to the where do you see yourself in five years question! Halfway thru year one and reading everything I can!

Welcome Nyancy to the CRVL forums! To help you learn the ins and outs of these forums, this "Tips, Tricks and Rules" post lists some helpful information to get you started.

Most of our rules boil down to two simple over-riding principles: 1) What you post should provide good information (like your introductory post), and 2) Any response to someone else's post should make them feel glad they are part of this forum community.

We look forward to hearing more from you.

Nyancy, starting a new journey, :). Much of it you can pick up along the way. The big thing is to look at all the different vehicle options and try to decide what looks good for you. Try to limit to 2 or 3 RV options, and research those as much as you can. Track down youtube videos from people who have those vehicles and find out what their considerations are. There are zillions of youtubes on every vehicle you can think of. Good luck.

Hi Nyancy,

Welcome to CRVL.
I'm a little ahead of you in the "where you see yourself plan". I only gave myself 3 years, and I'm about a year and a half in. I watched and read and thought all sorts of info on living nomadic, and I'm at the point where I just need to get out there. I came to the conclusion that I'm not really going to figure out what I need/want out there while sitting in my apartment. I recently built myself a tiny travel trailer (TTT) and I'm taking trial trips in it now. I'm not sure the TTT is the nomadic answer for me but I am learning a lot every trip.
Don't stop reading and researching but maybe plan a point where you can take a trip. Getting out there has thought me so much.

Keep in touch and let us know how things are going

Hope this helps
Buster
