I came across a photo of a Model-T Ford outfitted as a chuck wagon. That particular vehicle is on display in the Edison museum in Florida. There was a mention of it being used by Ford and Edison for caravan camping trips so I did a little followup research to find out more information.
The History Channel has made a good job of telling the story of the"glamping" trips they took together along with other friends and wives for annual excursions up and down the East Coast and out to California as well. One of the vehicles was set up as a mobile kitchen complete with a chef to do the cooking. I will let you read about it on the History Channel's website as they also have photos to go with the story.
