Hello, Just joining the Forum but I am not new to camping. I have camped about everyway there is over my long lifetime. For many varying amounts of time. My current thing is a New to me Chevy Express Cargo Van. I just bought it yesterday in Seattle. A friend is driving me over tomorrow to pick it up. I am pretty excited to begin the build for it. I will do it all myself or with anyone else I can coerce into helping me
I have already built a camper in large dressing room in a gooseneck horse trailer. It is no where near as nice as some of the ones I see on youtube but it is insulated and paneled with small kitchen area. I feel confident I can do it again in a van.
You know the story, have been tied down with family and responsibilities and now at 72 am breaking free. The horse is leaving as is the horse trailer and all other farm animals. Going to be able to just pick up and go anytime I want to. Not planning on selling my Pacific NW home place as yet but ya never know what in the future I might do
I also have a small place in Eastern Arizona. So I can have that as a Winter base if I choose. Anyway looking forward to meeting lots of people and new friends
Nikki Jo
