I've been planning to travel for the last 10 years. Life has worked out and I'm now retired and I'll be ready to leave in August. My plans are to spend two to four weeks in each state. You know, fishing where the locals fish, eating where the locals eat, etc. Meeting as many people as I can and learning their local customs. Oh yeah, following the warm weather. See you there.

Sounds like a great plan.. What kind of rig are you in?

I'm shopping now for a bumper pull. My first choice is a 20 ft 2002 Coleman Caravan. Whatever I get will be pulled by a 01 dodge 1/2 ton pickup. I'll also be taking a recumbent trike with a 750 watt 52 volt motor.

Welcome, sounds like a great plan. I'm enjoying the Texas Gulf coast right now. Started a few days ago east of Houston, then Port Lavaca and Indianola. Heading for Rockport right now then on to Corpus Christi and Padre Island.

I love fishing in the Rockport area. I thought of making my permanent home there at one time. Maybe after I get too old to travel.
