Hello Everyone - Boat Dweller Going to Try Out Van Life

For the past 3 years my wife and I have sailed throughout the Caribbean and US East Coast.  This summer we sailed across the Atlantic and are now faced with 5 months of winter in Northern Europe so we plan to build out a Campervan and travel in the land yacht when not on the boat. Our first van will be a Promaster 1500 High Roof.  We have the vehicle and are now designing our future winter home.  We look forward to sharing insights with other members.

When I lived in St Pete I had a friend who lived on a sailboat. It seems there's quite a bit of overlap between the two lifestyles, and also some differences.

The closest I ever got was kayak-camping.
