For anyone into astrophotography, astronomy and/or stargazing, the Geminids meteor shower is coming up soon. The shower will run from Dec 7th to the 17th, with the highest concentration of meteors overnight Dec 13th to 14th. At its peak, this shower produces up to 120 multicolored meteors per hour. I know we have a lot of shutterbugs and folks who appreciate the night sky, so I thought I would post to make sure folks that want to see it don't miss it.

I love night photography, and if I can get off work early enough, my camera and I will be out at the Salton Sea Thursday night :D
