I do have a Handicap sign for EU. I cant find any tells if I can use that sign in USA?
Can you please help to find out if I can use my Handicap sign for the car in your country?

I'm just guessing, but I would think that could be handled at the same time you get the plates for your vehicle. A letter from your doctor will help.

It's like a portable handicap sign that you put on the dash of whatever vehicle you're parking.

Great to have if you're ever travelling in someone elses' vehicle.

We use the one Mom has whenever we take her someplace in any of our vehicles.

there are businesses all over the country that will accept your packages. if you can't find one close to you I have just asked regular businesses if they would accept my package. most will say yes. at least that's what I have found. highdesertranger

I thought that was an intriguing question, so I did a little research on it.  Because we have 50 states, the answer appears to be "sometimes".

The good news is that Arizona, where the RTR is held, apparently DOEs recognize you handicap sticker.

The U. S. Postal Service offers a service called GENERAL DELIVERY.  I believe it's similar to what you Europeans call POSTE RESTANTE.

United Parcel Service - UPS - runs probably the largest nationwide private chain with it's UPS Stores.

FedEx also has a competing chain called FedEx/Kinkos and affiliated locations.

Also lots of individual Mail Forwarding businesses.

With those hints, you can doubtless go on the web and get all the info you need.

A Google search on Mail Forwarding followed by a location name will probably locate the nearest facility to wherever you are.  Try "Mail Forwarding Ehrenberg AZ"  (the location of the RTR) and see what comes up.

I've been collecting the addresses of parcel receiving places everywhere I go. I know someone else who has been putting them on a spreadsheet for future use. Once you're ready to arrive and need parcels/mail received, ask for information for a specific location and I'm sure you'll receive...

I also use a franchise organization called Kinekpoint for receiving parcels. It's a US wide network in larger cities and border crossing points mostly to receive parcels. I've used them in 3 different states now for cross border shopping!!

If it's just mail from home then general delivery to the post office works but one needs to check with each post master to see what their individual rules are....some are great and some not so great.

UPS depots are ok if you know the parcel is being sent UPS but in a lot of cases, the shipper gets to choose how they're shipping. Amazon is one that never tells you how it's being shipped until after it's sent out so you have to find a receiver that can accept any and all shipping methods.

Packages from internet orders...
In Quartzsite, Az we use a business called Quiet Times. Ehrenberg we use the store/laundry.
Here in Cottonwood, Az the office at the Catholic Charities will accept them for you.
As AlmostThere mentioned, there are many places all over the country that provide the service and often for a few dollars.

When you are at RTR this and many other subjects are covered in seminars or by chatting with those with a bit of experience.
I'M sure you will leave there feeling like a pro.

most of the mail forwarding(places you get an address) or private P.O. box stores will accept packages. as will UPS and the post office. if none of these are available I have had packages delivered to a bar, a small store, a private residence, even a ranch. just ask. highdesertranger

HDR...I think you're right for the most part.
I have used mine at a few events and the parking people would direct me to a closer lot rather than "way out there" with the other RVs. Still not front row but certainly better than the alternative.

I have seen handicap spots in some of the campgrounds here. It's been a while.

I got my placards last week so I don't have to shuffle in.

I use mine ALL the time. 19 foot Roadtrek. No problems.

The Walmart that I go to has several long handicapped spots that could hold a class A or C but you have to go early because there is usually one or two cars parked in them.
