Hello

I am an aspiring nomad, and need to get my stalled kitchen remodel back up and running, and other small miscellaneous items done (i.e. get the weird things out of the walls, and walls patched) so my house will be renter-ready when I am ready to go.

For the kitchen, I had bought a concrete countertop system that someone "helped" me with (don't ask) and it is F'd up. I need to figure out what to do with that, and the other side of the kitchen, which I couldn't put that system on since he sealed in the sink. I am open to any idea for the concrete side, and am thinking of butcher block for the other side as a low cost solution.

I have backsplash tile ready to go in once the countertops are done. If you know how to lay tile, that would be great.

Anyway, if you want to take a break from the road, I have a nice guest room with a comfy bed in a three bedroom house. It has a jack and jill bath connected with my kid's room, but the kid will share my master bath if someone takes me up on this offer, so you would have your own bathroom.

I have 2 large dogs and one cat. If you have pets, they would have stay in your rig. My dogs are not good with other dogs. If you prefer to stay in your rig and not in the house, you can park in my driveway and use my electricity and water. I have a standard sized driveway, so a large rv would not fit.

I live in Dallas, Texas. The winters aren't warm here, but they are mild. Background check required, but that doesn't mean if you have something there it won't work- I just want to know.

I can also offer pay and/or meals depending on your skill level. Let me know if you have any questions, and thanks for reading.

Hi Wandering. Thanks for responding.

I can help....
What is your timeline?

It's open. The kitchen has been in limbo for 2 years now, so no hurry. Summers here though are not the best lol.

Here is a pic of the concrete countertop. I have put shelf paper over it, so that is the white you see.

It is only multi colored because it is stained (because it is unsealed).

Here is the guest room. Not a great mattress but with a great foam pad over it, so comfy. Soft velvet covered foam headboard (which I made lol, along with the curtains).

:)  just means if no one can do it... I will be around later this year  :)   Yes no content yet... to many irons in the fire to get ready for the RTR, content coming soon

I'm still needing handyman help if someone is interested.

I think I have found a solution for the countertop, but then I will need someone to install the backsplash tile and a few other things in the kitchen, like crown moulding.

Also I have some weird metal boxes for ancient wiring I think that need to be removed and the walls patched.

FYI I am not expecting someone to work full time just for a room. If you work about 15 hours a week, that would be good, or if you want to work all out and get it done, I would pay you for your time.

Thanks for reading, and let me know if you are interested or need more information.
