Hello All,

I have yet to make the leap to RVing, but it is consuming my days as I research for the right camper.  I am interested in a hard-side pop-up and am looking hard at used Aliners and Chalets.  I'm not sure just how much space I need but find myself attracted to those that provide a larger bed, have a sink, stove, and frig.  I will be traveling mostly solo initially, but hope to have my honey join me upon his retirement.  There are also grandchildren that should be ready for the road in a few years.

I would love to hear from anyone, but especially those that have or have had experience with hardside pop-ups.  I don't know enough at this point to even ask the right questions.  When is a camper too old (I don't want to buy new)?  What features have you most enjoyed?  What should I be aware of?

Thanks to everyone and I look forward to learning from each of you as I get ready to take the plunge.

Welcome aboard Freshaire!

I don't think age is the critical factor.
Condition is.
Water damage from leaks being #1
Function of all the various systems next.

When you find something you are interested in post some pics .
For now , ask all the questions you want and get lots of advice from those that have done that , been there.
