Wow! And that one looks like it's just transportation, not living accommodations---definitely not a common person's vehicle!

Here I thought years ago that my husband's parents going into the debt of a small farm at retirement, when their house had been paid off, in order to live in a land yacht fishbowl at RV parks was a waste of average income. Ended up when they both died the RV had to be turned over to the bank. They could have traveled everywhere and stayed in nice hotels all the time for the cost of parking that behemoth 10 ft from their neighbors in one place. I guess to each their own---the amerikan dream and all that.

I'd rather have comfortable inexpensive accommodations and focus on the values of experiences and adventures myself. :)

For that kind of money, you can buy 3 houses, and a decent van to travel between them.  :p

Not around here you couldn't.  That's not even half the cost of a house in this part of California.  Well, maybe Sacramento, but who wants to live there?  :p

I met a couple on a trip recently. They were doctors in Brazil and said they must drive armored cars and have a personal security team to live in that country. Crazy huh.

There are a lot of nice places in N. CA, and Sac is not so bad.  I grew up in the Napa Valley, and for that kind of money you can make  deposit in a fixer upper...     But in Lake County, a 2/2 on the lake can be had for 50K.

In Idaho I could buy an entire town and have money left over to build a fem-bot. [emoji12]

Well, Yeah!  State capitols are full of politicians!  God, talk about your "undesirable elements" . . .
