In the past, I have sent these to members when they seemed interested in women only groups, not wanting to post them publicly. Not all are mobile nomads. Some I've joined, others I haven't.
https://www.facebook.com/#!/groups/nomadicsisters/

http://groups.yahoo.com/group/womengosolo/

http://www.women-on-the-road.com/

This one has a large membership but requires $$$
http://www.rvingwomen.org/

Thanks to Dragonfly for this link (another list of women's groups is located here)

I'm adding a few facebook groups I've stumbled across

Thanks, Cyndi! I've bookmarked "Women on the Road", and will look at the others later today. My Private Investigator friend is encouraging me to get a handgun for protection if I insist on traveling alone. Is that something you other single girls have done? CA Laws are more strict than other states; what are the requirements if you're traveling through other states?

Hi All there is another group on Facebook called women who rv and it is free. I have lots of friends on there and they towill be meeting in Quartsite az.

I'll be checking out these links, thank for posting them. Though I feel like a fraud if I join anything like that before I'm actually on the road...am I wrong?

Terry, in every group of nomads there are those looking toward a nomadic life in the future. Sometimes it seems there are more working toward the life than actually in it.

If you're not welcomed, their loss.

You're straying from the topic: Women's groups on the web
I can't move the CCW or gun posts, at the moment, because I'm on my phone. But, I will when I pull the laptop out.

Please stick to the topic

I chose Omar as my user name. I am a girl. Cherrie is my name. Omar is my rv ( my daughter named it when we wrote it into my budget as Operations maintenance and repairs. I am new at this, but thanks for the sites on solo women. I look forward to checking them out.

That's a pretty good hint!!!! [emoji3]

On facebook is a group called Women's RV Travel Tribe created for solo female nomads. Really great group of ladies. I don't know where is the best place to post this so maybe someone can repost it in a better place, but there is an awesome camp meeting in May in Arkansas, camp nomad college for newbies and a great place for the expeirenced nomad to meet others with the same spirit. It is free, but there are only a few spots left open. Limited to just 18 rigs, cars, tents, vans, TT whatever.
