If you could recommend only one thing, (other than shelter), to make your comfortability more comfortable 'on the road', what would it be ? I should say, what is the one thing you do every day or some days  to make sure you are pleased with your life? : Is it a visit to Starbucks; a walk around the park, visiting with strangers; a night out on the town; Sunday, going-to-meeting? 

---What is it? !

I don't want to deny myself simple pleasures simply because I am 'on the road'. I think I have everything but am I missing something that might make my life more pleasurable?

Allows one to locate, seek, explore, inform, update, educate and entertain.
Weather, news, geographic information, search, gas price, necessary on the road info, on the spot repair videos, restaurant reviews, tourist info and suggestions, entertainment videos, any and all information required can be found online, etc...
Practical for day to day info as well as entertainment to make nomad life much more interesting and less solitary, especially during dark and solo nights.

there isn't one thing for me, I need a few.
unlimited data is a key for me to function in many ways.
my fav chair to relax.
my spices to jack up any food I cook for myself. I love my spices.
ok, that is kind of about it for me
well, also a non tangible item...my freedom intact to function as I please when I please! It is a mind calming freedom and one I cherish!

A good hot cup of tea to start the day, and a good book to listen to while on the road -- whatever it takes to have those two things are a necessity.

A shower for me. It cleanses more than my body. Hmm- Maybe more akin to watering a plant. Anyway, a hot shower, cup of coffee, and a beautiful sunrise = rejuvenation

A continuous flow of money so I can have complete freedom of my time. But, since this is the same for everyone, and in the spirit of the question, I've listed my top three, in order.

1. Daily shower. I just feel gross without it.
2. A/C. Admittedly a luxury, but I'm a massive heat wimp.
3. Great gas mileage to help make the most of the money I do have.

Same here.  I can live without it, but it makes life very unpleasant in a visceral way that's hard to shake until autumn comes to town.

And yup, without it, a shower becomes even more imperative.
