Free parking in or around Phoenix?

Does anyone know of free parking spots that would be close enough to Phoenix to get a seasonal job? It looked like it wasn't very vandweller friendly..thanks!

There was a guy profiled in one of Bob and Jamie's "bermuda triangle" videos sometime in the last six months (I think) named something like Mike from Phoenix.  Big proponent of Craigslist.  Works full-time in Phoenix and stays in his van for most of the year (not summer).  He surely knows places like those you're seeking.  However, the problem is that my attempts to contact him have come up short.

I contacted him via his YouTube channel a couple of months ago, got one very brief cryptic reply, and then he went dark.  Nothing since then.  Sounded like the perfect guy for Phoenix stuff though.

Phoenix is his life-long home, he is a security guard there.

I have a friend who was a student in Phoenix at U of A, and he ran an ad in Craigslist offering $100 a month to let him sleep overnight in someone's driveway. He was swamped with answers and got his choice. It's a college town so it's more acceptable.
