Any temp / volt sense wires from charge sources should go direct to bank positive, not distribution buss. IMO also power output wires, maybe separate, very robust but short, charging buss if more than three connections, can run the likely lighter load buss off that.
Most critical: Maxi fuse as close as possible to the battery, before distribution.
Same with a shunt on the negative side if using an AH counting battery monitor.
Ideally also a master switch on + before load buss, especially if a big bank.
But make sure alt output **never** gets disconnected from the bank while running (boom bad!), another reason to go direct to the terminal.
