Will be driving from SF to Albuquerque 7/2/18 to pick up (hopefully) the final solution. I will have an empty passenger seat.

Are you going anywhere else while you're out this way or are you heading back to SF?

Just saw one on craig'slist western slope with an older rusty Ford 4x4 truck. Might want to check it out on your way.

Thanks yes I got it, and smooth sailing aside a rear brake cylinder issue 25 miles from home. Original equipment very very clogged up.

Re contacting other folks in the Alaska Camper community, the Wanderthewest forum is a good place to begin.

It’s against the rules now to refer people to other forums. Hope you don’t get banned.

That would be pretty shortsighted rule, unless just applied to spammy / scammy posters.

Agree we all have the freedom to roam freely, seems like no Alaskan owners on this site even though I saw one at the last RTR close to the Music camp.

It's not against the rules to refer people to other forums. It's against the rules to spam people through PMs or email.

"New Written Policy: Do not advertise or invite members of the CheapRVLiving Forum to join another forum or website by private message (PM) or by email.

We have received an escalating number of complaints with copies of emails or private messages (PMs) with advertising and invitations to join other vandwelling-related forums.  Sometimes these communications come from someone who has given themselves an "administrator" or "moderator" name or title.  We've banned those individuals who have come to our attention thus far."

That's a great policy, rare example of common sense
