I saw three postings for events here... A meal, a dance...and I forgot the other... But I saw no address. Can anyone tell me how that works?

Matt...Go up and talk to the good folks at Isaiah 58. They have a food bank, showers, and other helpful services. Go between 9 & 11 AM. I just talked to a lady there and one of the guys can probably help you score some pallets or other scrap wood to feed your rocket.

They are on Moon Mountain on the west end of town. About anyone can point you in the right direction.

After the first they will be serving meals too.

HDR...no issue with pallets in Az. We just hope folks are mindful of the nails. Clean them up and bury them.

Bob just cleared up the pallet thing. Not really legal. I have only used oak pallets thet were already knocked down and clean.

Jay I am surprised burying any type of trash should be discouraged. you don't know how many of these trash pits I have dug up with my metal detector. highdesertranger

My thinking was that you would not haul pallets anyway...too bulky. 
I can't do fires anymore but we used to cut and bundle the wood for easy handling. I hate busting wood at camp.

When I pick up nails and screws in a fire area, as I often do, I bury them in the firepit.
