Looking at a Dodge Grand Caravan / Chrysler Town & Country 2005 or later.
I see indications that the 2005 models had up to about 167 cubic feet of space behind the rear seats, but the 5th gen (2008 redesign) seems to show only 144 cubic feet or so. But I am having trouble getting equivalent measurements, and the newer seems to have more volume in most specific measurements.
Can anyone help me out from an authoritative source?
Also, is it true that the most volume would be found in Stow 'n' Go models, because you can remove the seats and still use the underfloor storage bins?
Any other general advice for what features to look for in this era of Chrysler/Dodge minivans is much appreciated.
(The mission for this vehicle is "very basic part-time starter micro-camper for one with maximum stealth and low cost").
