I picked this up at Auto Zone a while back and got to use it a couple weeks ago.
Works like a charm, much more compact than my previous sealed catch pan while still having enough capacity for oil and trans fluid changes.
Plus the vent actually stays closed where my old one would pop back open pretty much right after closing.

The only drawback to it so far is the catch area is smaller, but being able to raise is helpful in some situations.

It does cost a bit more, but I like it way more than my previous, which was more or less this:

The elevated pan is a great idea, however it will likely fail far too soon, moving parts made of plastic looks unreliable.  It would be better to have a separate funnel to direct the flow for oil changes.  Not easy use I know. For transmission work a lot of vehicles require dropping the whole pan and that does not look wide enough for that.

I hope, for your sake, I'm wrong.
