We did pretty good last time, a little over 2 oz in 4 days, split 3 ways. This is what $2500 in gold looks like

We had several interested parties, but some bad weather at the beginning scared them off. T or C is really nice this time of year, and there is plenty of BLM land to boondock on.

The picture of the pan was just over 2 troy ounces. If I remember correctly, there are 30 grams in a troy oz. So it's about 63 grams. We sell decent nuggets and a little flour gold to jewelers, and they usually pay about 85 to 90% of spot, depending on the price trend. We keep most of it, hoping for a sudden uptick LOL.

We will be at the RiverView RV Park in Caballo, NM, probably until Friday morning. I will try to get pics of this trip's take and upload them later in the week.

Our claim is in Wicke's Gulch, toward Hillsboro on 152. We heard that the GPAA has a new claim close to us. Their claim on 152 that opened last year is east of us.

We ended up with 1.88 oz, or just under 57 grams. I'm back in Houston. It was a great trip. There are many old Winnebago Braves and old Class B's out there. One day I'll take cash and bring one home... LOL

I wish I was there, I've looked for gold before but didn't know how or where. I was told to look in the black sand in washes.
