As we all likely know, van life is becoming more well known and less stigmatized. Some might say it is even going "mainstream".

Well, a sure fire way to know when that is actually the case is when even celebrities chose to participate.

Canadian-born whacky comic and actor, Tom Green, has had enough of the Covid being cooped up at home in L.A. and has outfitted a Promaster and taken to the road for the duration of the pandemic. He has taken his podcast studio and loaded it into the van and will be doing his podcasts from the road as he travels across America with his dog.

In announcing a little over a month ago on his YouTube channel the general outline of his plan, he stated his intention is to not enter any buildings during his trip. He intends to both bring along all his food and necessities, foraging and fishing as needed, remaining remote and in nature as much as possible the entire time.

We've seen plenty of van dwellers become celebrities (of a sort) via YouTube,...and now, we may be seeing a celebrity becoming a van dweller.

I'm sure that there are plenty of people who would like to podcast from their rig.   There are numerous ways of going about it on a budget too whether it is only audio or audio video.  You may only want to add audio to a PowerPoint presentation and that can be quite effective too.

In the bottom link in the links portal under "Communication" there  is a link to setting up a podcast studio in your rig
on a budget.   There are plenty of youtube video tutorials on using this equipment.

I find it very funny and comedic that he would think he has to stock up before he leaves to avoid going into buildings to get food.  Most grocery store are offering curbside pickup and started doing so early in spring of 2020. Of course some of them were doing that and delivery long before Covid happened. He has a phone and internet he can easily grocery shop witwithout ever going into a building. The stores will bring it out to him. Of course there is always fast food drive up window service and drug stores have been doing drive up windows for a very long time. Yep, totally possible to make that plan work.
