Campground finder apps

I got three new iPhone apps today: Find Campgrounds, Find Nearest Campgrounds and State Park Locator. There are a few more, but I thought I'd try these. I don't imagine they'd be much help for things like boondocking on BLM land, but if if you want some amenities and can afford a few bucks for the night, the apps might come in handy.<br><br>Is anyone else out there using these or other camping apps?

I have "Allstays Camp &amp; RV" app, and it works well.&nbsp; It covers the big stores people care about, REI, and the like, and all the truck stops and casinos, and places that allow overnight parking(ONP) like Walmarts, etc.&nbsp; (They know which WM's do and don't support ONP).&nbsp; <br><br>Also I have "iExit", it knows all the interstates, and what's near them, so you turn it on as you are driving down the road, and it will show Exit #456, has all these services/gas stations/food places, etc.&nbsp; It knows rest area's as well, very cool.&nbsp; It has a Background mode, and you can say I like this type of restaurant, and this type of fast food or whatever, and it will alert you saying, 10 miles away if your favorite restaurant on exit #46, turn right 1.6 miles (or whatever). <br><br><br>With Love,<br>Tara

you can create icons that are book marks from an internet web page. i bookmarked OPENNEARME.com to tell me what is open near me. &nbsp; many businesses are closed when you try to access them.&nbsp;<br><br>also using COPILOT as a gps app because it downloads all the maps. no worries about cellphone coverage to get a map. &nbsp;<br><br>REST AREA FINDER is another cool app to get. &nbsp;

Allstays is great. I use their military one too as I am retired military. On a side note My Pilot show Pilot and Flying J truckstops nearby. Gas buddy gets you the cheapest fuel. Sanidump will get you to dumpstation.

I've een playing with RVparky. It's a free app for Android systems. Looks pretty good.
