I came across an article on my PBS station about making bright pink the better choice of color for hunters who want to be visible than the standard safety orange color.
Just think of all the women who work as flaggers being safer while making a statement for breast cancer support by wearing bright fluorescent pink vest. Of course we can do the same thing when wearing a safety vest for changing times, walking along the road, riding bikes or during hunting season when camping in the forested areas.
Of course some men actually do like the color pink and wear it and they don't worry about the gender bias association of that color with women.
