Yeah, I don't know if it can boast of this today, but Bisbee used to be one of the "Art Car" capitals of the world! Fourth of July and New Years Eve are great times to see art cars in Bisbee. The Fourth of July parade was amazing one year when there was a silver shark car. The tail end was jointed so it would wave back and forth. The owner drove it very slowly in the parade, weaving so that it looked like a huge metallic shark was swimming down the street! As he drove, he threw handfuls of candy to the kids while laughing maniacally. Only in Bisbee!
I saw this trike the first time in Tucson at the VA hospital a couple years ago.
I had the good fortune to meet Vince, a fellow Vietnam Vet, who lives in Bisbee. He is wheelchair bound. This trike has a ramp that lowers so he can wheel his chair right in, lock it down, and cruise. He has traveled all over the nation with this machine, while speaking to other Vets about spinal damage and taking control of their lives....
